Why it helps

Why metabolic care may be part of your plan.

Metabolic care is not a stand-alone answer for every condition. When clinically appropriate, it can identify and address factors that may slow your recovery.

Find hidden barriers

Labs can reveal problems with thyroid function, vitamin levels, iron or inflammation that may quietly affect recovery.

Support the basics

Correcting a deficiency, such as low B12, removes one factor that can hold recovery back.

Strengthen a larger plan

When appropriate, metabolic care supports hyperbaric oxygen, rTMS and other therapies selected for your goals.

What to expect

You will know what is happening at every step.

Lab work may sound clinical, but the process is simple, quick, and explained at every stage.

  1. We test your labs

At your first session, we draw blood on site to check key nutritional and metabolic markers.

  2. We review the results

Your physician explains what your results mean, usually the same day, and which findings may affect recovery.

  3. We build your plan

Your plan may include nutrition changes, targeted supplements, or IV nutrient infusions, based on your results.

  4. We retest and adjust

We repeat key labs at set points to confirm what is improving and update your plan as needed.

FAQs

Common metabolic care questions.

  • Why test labs for a neurological condition?

Your nervous system depends on nutrients, hormones and healthy metabolism to repair itself. Problems such as low vitamin B12, thyroid imbalance or inflammation are common and can slow recovery, but they are easy to miss without testing.

  • What are IV nutrient infusions?

IV infusions deliver nutrients such as vitamins, glutathione or NAD+ directly into your bloodstream. These infusions are not FDA-approved treatments for neurological conditions; your physician will explain why one may or may not make sense for you. A team member monitors you throughout.

  • Will I have to stop my current medications?

No. Metabolic care works alongside your existing treatment. We review everything you take, check for interactions, and coordinate with your other doctors. Do not stop or change any medication without talking to your prescriber.

  • Does insurance cover this?

Some lab testing may be covered by insurance, while supplements and IV infusions are usually private pay. Our team will explain costs, HSA and FSA options, and what is included in your program.
